Fitness Vacation Sample Itinerary:

Day 1

All scheduled activities & excursions are optional!

​

  • 6am - Sunrise Yoga & mobility training

  • 7am - Beach HIIT Workout

  • 8 - 10 - Breakfast & free time! Try SUPing, swimming, sailing, kayaking, or...

  • 11 -1 - Snorkel with turtles excurion

  • 1-3 - Lunch & free time! Try out the spa for a massage!

  • 3-4 - Beach & Pool Volleyball Games. 

  • 4-5 - Join a class - Healthy meal planning, Fitness goal setting, 1-1 with personal trainer.

  • 6-7- Give Back. Community outreach excursion.

  • 7-? - Enjoy your time! Try one of the 8+ onsite restaurants, watch turtles on the beach, go for a night run on the golf course, watch a show!

Day 2

All scheduled activities & excursions are optional!

  • 6am - Sunrise TRX

  • 7am - Beach or Trail Run

  • 8 - 9 - Breakfast

  • 9-5 - Adventure Park excursion - Zip lining, swimming through underground rivers, ATVs, spelunking.  

  • 5-7 - Free time - try spa pampering,  join a class on salsa making or dancing get some dinner,  or relax in a hammock.

  • 7-? - Enjoy your time! Try a beach night walk,  go for a night swim, enjoy live music or join a rousing game of cards with fellow travelers!

Day 3

All scheduled activities & excursions are optional!

  • 6am - Sunrise Pilates & mobility training

  • 7am - 9 - Breakfast & Free time.  Try a morning pool or ocean swim or join a ZUMBA class.

  • 9-12 - Experience Tulum's Beach front Jungle Gym. 

  • 12-1 - Lunch in Tulum. 

  • 2-4 - Cool off in a fresh water cenote.

  • 5-7 - Get some dinner and enjoy Free time. Try a hot rock treatment in the spa,  go for a swim or test your balance on the slack line.

  • 7-9- Give Back. Sweat it out & support a local gym. Can you take the heat?

  • 9- ? - Enjoy your time!  Check out the variety of evening entertainment.

Day 4

All scheduled activities & excursions are optional!

  • 6am - Sunrise Yoga & mobility training

  • 7am - Beach HIIT & ocean open water  swim.

  • 8 - 12- Breakfast & free time! Try Intro to SCUBA or offshore snorkeling or paddle boarding.

  • 12- 1- Lunch

  • 1-4 - Biking to the ruins excursion & Coba temple climb.

  • 4-6- Try a class  like pool Zumba, work with a personal trainer or join a game of beach ultimate frisbi

  • 6 -7 - Futbol with other travelers & locals.

  • 7-? - Enjoy your time!  Try going out on the town. We'll point you in the right direction for some local fun!

I often hit up gyms when I travel. But it was nice to have professional trainers with our group for the whole week. I felt like I was getting good tips on fine tuning my fitness strategy even when we were just out for a snorkel!

Water Sports

I can't always find people who can get off work when I can. Tamara invited me to a fitness retreat which was perfect. It was an active vacation where I wasn't the only one traveling solo!
