When most people want to make nutrition changes, they jump straight into fixing things. But the truth is, you can’t change what you don’t understand.Tracking what you eat for just a few days—without judgment—creates an honest snapshot of your current habits.
You’ll start to notice small patterns: maybe you skip breakfast, snack when stressed, or eat most of your calories late at night. These insights aren’t about guilt; they’re data. And that data gives you control.
During perimenopause, hormones like estrogen and progesterone fluctuate daily. These shifts can affect appetite, cravings, and energy. Becoming aware of when and why you eat helps you recognize whether hunger is physical or emotional—and that’s such an important step toward energy balance.
This isn’t about perfection or calorie counting. It’s about connecting the dots between your food and how you feel. Awareness makes it possible to take targeted, effective action instead of guessing.
Challenge for This Week
Log three days of meals and drinks—no judgment.
After each meal, jot a quick note: How do I feel? Energized? Bloated? Sleepy?
Look for one small pattern that stands out—you’ll use this insight in future weeks.
Let me know which challenge you are choosing so I can better support you.
